This is a Battery powered flower headdress I made for a festival. It is made from a shell base with jewels, feathers, fake flowers and fairy lights. The battery pack is really small and not heavy as it’s designed for a watch so it’s quite comfortable to wear. The heaviest thing is the shells. The lights make you really easy to spot and I managed to keep the group together at Houghton Festival, with the aid of my inflatable monkey lights too of course. Which was pretty handy as there was no phone reception. Trying to herd 20 or 30 cats at a festival at night without lights is a challenge.

The battery lasts 4 days being on constantly and you can change them easily. It should see you through many festivals as this one is not very delicate and can handle being repeatedly swished into a ruck sack.
