Wedding Invite Design – Natural Festival Style
Lilly and Jack are getting married in a flower meadow in spring next year. They’re having a festival style wedding with a beautiful stretch tent, festoon lighting and wild flowers with a laid back vibe. They needed the wedding invite design to give that sort of feel so I used vintage botanical illustrations (a bit like my wedding invite design). I also used a colour adjusted meadow photo and paper texture to give a hand made organic feel. I used some simple tent vector shapes to give the festival tent impression and to keep some sharp lines in there so it didn’t all look too messy. I tried to keep the fonts relaxed with a little bit of flouncy floaty vibes for a touch of classic elegance.
I’ve promised to help Lilly with her table signs, menus, signage, place names, table plan and other wedding stationary design when she’s ready. I think we’re going to stick to lovely natural textured paper, pretty string rather than silky ribbon. maybe some leaf skeletons or pressed flowers, maybe some glitter in thereto aid the festival visuals. I love designing for weddings!
