Branding and printed adverts

I was asked by a company based in West London to create them a new brand identity. They provide a gift wrapping service . I thought the brand needed a flamboyant character to visually describe the brands style so you could tell straight away that your presents will be as well presented as he was. I called him Spencer, he’s a Victorian etching of a fancy bird of some kind. I scanned in some cockerel and peacock feathers and jewels I had to add to his plumage. It has a retro fashion feel which should appeal to the audience it’s aimed at.

The client loved Spencer and he was a welcome addition to the flyers and magazine adverts I designer her. He instantly added visual interest that made the adverts stand out on the page against the others.
