Illustration for Birth Rights Charity
This charity provide information and legal advice about childbirth. ‘ Protecting human rights in Childbirth’. They were running a campaign promoting the ‘SAFE care act’, helping mothers to be understand their rights around home birth. I felt pretty well qualified to help with this project as I’d had 2 home births myself. I like working for charities, it’s better for the soul. It was nice to feel like I was helping women have the home birth experience I had. The illustrations needed to match to existing brand style and colours so the look and feel was already determined. I helped to visualise the birth situations for the illustrations in order to visually communicate their message. Miranda at Birthrights was a pleasure to work. They were clearly happy with the illustrations as they didn’t make any amends. Lovely.
