Dressed-up Animal Character Illustrations

I had some large format vintage etchings of animals already printed out from decorating the inside of our treehouse. So I cut them out, made them little outfits with flowers, ribbon, lace, jewels, buttons, velvet, sequins, fake fur and tassels. I stuck them on and then photographed them. With the beetle I cheated and used photoshop to add his little satchel.  I then combined the characters with some botanical illustrations I’d made from a previous project for New Look that didn’t get used. That’s double design recycling!
